2024 VITALITY GALA – VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation
The 2024 Vitality Gala, held on October 19th at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, was an unforgettable evening dedicated to advancing healthcare innovation in British Columbia. Presented by B2Gold Corp. and organized by the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, the gala welcomed over 800 guests from the corporate, philanthropic, and medical communities, all rallying behind the shared goal of supporting life-saving healthcare advancements.
This year’s gala raised an impressive $2,482,989, with more donations expected in the coming days. These funds will go towards groundbreaking research, innovative therapies, and healthcare improvements that will benefit not only those in Vancouver but also patients across the province and beyond.
The event featured a dazzling “Illuminate” theme, complete with immersive lighting and stunning entertainment. Guests enjoyed lively activations, including the much-talked-about Glambot and various photo booths, which provided a fun way to capture memories throughout the night. Hosted by HGTV’s Todd Talbot, the evening’s highlights included live and silent auctions offering extraordinary experiences, from luxurious vacations to exclusive items, all helping to raise funds for the cause.
It was an evening full of inspiration and generosity, with everyone in attendance playing a part in making a real difference for healthcare in BC.
