Culinary Excellence: Monogram X Chef Patrick Kriss
WE RECENTLY attended an exceptional lunch event at Vancouver’s Holt Café, part of Monogram Canada’s “Elevated Entertaining” series in collaboration with Holt Renfrew. Hosted by Canadian TV personality Tanya Kim, the event celebrated Monogram’s latest innovation, the Professional Induction Range, with a culinary showcase by Michelin-starred Chef Patrick Kriss.
This exclusive series, which debuted in Toronto and continued in Montreal and Vancouver, represents a landmark collaboration between Monogram and Holt Renfrew, blending culinary excellence with luxury design. Chef Kriss, founder of Alo Food Group, crafted a four-course meal, demonstrating the precision of the Professional Induction Range with a signature appetizer prepared live. “Induction cooking has been a valuable addition to my restaurants, offering excellent control and a more comfortable kitchen environment,” he explained.
“We are proud to continue our ongoing collaboration with Chef Patrick Kriss, now joined by the iconic Holt Renfrew. Bringing together the best of Canada’s leaders in culinary excellence, fashion, and kitchen innovation, this event is truly the must-attend experience of the season.” Bob Park, Chief Brand Officer for GE Appliances Canada.
Adding to the luxurious experience, Monogram’s in-house mixologist, Orlando Carreira, crafted a bespoke cocktail using the Monogram Forge Heated Ice Press, pairing perfectly with the gourmet courses.
Ross Constandse, Senior Manager of Food and Beverage at Holt Renfrew, added, “This series brings together two iconic brands, showcasing our shared commitment to luxury and culinary artistry.”
A great way to inspire to bring the elegance and innovation of Monogram into our own kitchens, embracing Monogram’s dedication to “Elevate Everything.”
