Hedley Studios, designers of the world’s finest driveable automotive art, has partnered with Waldorf Astoria’s private Maldivian island, Ithaafushi, to display its Ferrari Testa Rossa J. Combining luxury automotive art with one of the world’s leading and most exclusive destinations, Hedley Studios will be displaying the Ferrari Testa Rossa J at Ithaafushi for one year, with guests and visitors able to experience and purchase the scaled electrified icon.
Ithaafushi, the private island by Waldorf Astoria, is a private residence of unparalleled luxury and elegance, a haven of relaxation and serenity that allows guests an experience unlike anything else. The largest private island in the Maldives, spanning over 344,000 square-feet, Ithaafushi can accommodate 24 guests across two each and overwater villas, and one detached four-bedroom residence.
The partnership between Hedley Studios and Ithaafushi will see a bespoke Ferrari Testa Rossa J placed on permanent display on the island, with guests able to get behind the wheel of the scaled, electrified icon to navigate their way around the paradisical island. A 75% scale reimagining of Ferrari’s legendary, Le Mans winning 250 Testa Rossa, the Testa Rossa J combines the exquisite craftsmanship of Hedley Studios with the prestige of one of the world’s most famous and successful brands, Ferrari.
As the only vehicle on the island, the Ferrari Testa Rossa J will be available exclusively for private island guests to test drive during their stay. From the private yoga pavilion to the five pools located across the island, the Testa Rossa J will form the perfect mode of exploration, allowing guests of the private island to experience the location in uniquely elegant style. These select guests also can custom-order their own Ferrari Testa Rossa J, making this a truly bespoke and memorable addition to their time on Ithaafushi.
A haven of tranquillity in the heart of the Indian Ocean, Ithaafushi Island is a natural environment unlike anything else, with its natural reef a true sight to behold. The team at Ithaafushi works tirelessly to preserve and conserve the natural beauty of the reef and its marine ecosystem. With an in-house marine biologist leading the efforts to protect and preserve the reef, the team is maintaining the coral nurseries while ensuring its natural growth and reproduction.
