– THE WILD SIDE – MANSORY AUDI RS6 AVANT

THE SUPER-WAGON

Now, look at that. This may very well be the first Mansory-tuned car that doesn’t look, well, you know what we mean.  Yes, cars from the German tuner are never dull or boring. It’s kind of a love/ hate affair. But this one … looks quite striking to us.

Mansory has added a complete body kit on the new fourth-generation Audi RS6 Avant type “C8”, comprised of a new front spoiler, side skirts, rear apron and diffuser, not one but two spoilers on the hatch, as well as a new bonnet, all made in-house from carbon fiber. Audi’s super wagon also wears a set of 22-inch forged lightweight wheels and some orange decorative stripes on the hood and the wheels which have a correspondent on the inside where there’s a similar shade for the seatbelts, floor mats, dashboard, and the door armrests to provide a contrasting effect.

As for the powertrain:  RS6’s twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine now produces 720 HP (730 PS) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque, up from the 592 HP (600 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of the standard model. It lowers the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time from 3.6 seconds to just 3.2s, and while top speed isn’t mentioned, the standard RS6 Avant can already do 190 mph (305 km/h).
