THE BANDINI DORA – A Luscious Electric Speedster

What in the world is a Bandini? Well, you may have never heard of it, or the company behind it – GFG- but this intriguingly-styled speedster was created by some well-known names.

GFG Style is founded by renowned Italian automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and son Fabrizio Giugiaro, the former of which who penned the DMC DeLorean, Ferrari 250 GT SWB Bertone, Lotus Esprit, and Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT to name a few.

The Dora features not one, but two electric motors. One sits on the front axle, the other on the rear, and combined they produce the equivalent of 536bhp (400kw) and 500lb ft of torque. GFG reckons a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.3secs.

It does have a windscreen, integrated into the structure for a cleaner design, a bit inspired by Formula 1’s Halo protection system.

GFG Style has yet to reveal the production date and pricing.
