Lights, Camera, Apex: Mercedes-AMG and the F1 Movie Take the Spotlight

This summer, movie theatres will be the go-to destination for Formula 1® fans around the world. F1, the highly anticipated film starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, races onto the big screen with a thrilling blend of authentic racing action and dramatic storytelling. Shot during actual Formula 1® races, the film brings realism to the forefront—with the help of Mercedes-AMG as an official promotional partner of Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures.

Mercedes-AMG contributed deep F1® expertise along with performance vehicles and iconic models like the SL, G-Class, and GT. Even the official FIA F1® Safety Car and Medical Car make an appearance on screen. A global co-promotion campaign across AMG’s key markets will support the film’s release.

A Cinematic Car to Match the Action

To celebrate the film’s debut, Mercedes-AMG unveiled the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ “APXGP Edition” at the Formula 1® Miami Grand Prix. The cast includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.

Produced in collaboration with Formula 1®, all ten F1® teams, drivers, FIA, and race promoters participated in the film’s creation. Lewis Hamilton also co-produced under his Dawn Apollo Films banner.
