Lamborghini Fenomeno: The Fastest Lambo Ever
Lamborghini has once again redefined the meaning of “supercar” with the unveiling of the Fenomeno, a jaw-dropping plug-in hybrid V12 coupe that now holds the crown as the fastest production car in the company’s history. With a starting price of approximately €3 million and production capped at just 29 units (plus one reserved for Lamborghini’s own collection), it’s as rare as it is blisteringly quick.
From Revuelto Roots to Record-Breaker
The Fenomeno is born from the Lamborghini Revuelto—the brand’s first PHEV launched in 2023—but this “Few-Off” limited edition pushes every performance dial into the red. It sprints from 0–100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, a tenth faster than its already ferocious predecessor, and tops out at 350 km/h.
At its heart is a tuned version of Lamborghini’s naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12, now producing 621kW/725Nm (up from 607kW) and revving all the way to 9250 rpm. Three electric motors—two up front and one integrated with the gearbox—boost total output to a staggering 794kW/1075Nm.
The secret sauce? A revised valvetrain and a larger 7kWh lithium-ion battery, replacing the Revuelto’s 3.8kWh pack. That not only gives the Fenomeno a performance edge but also increases pure-electric range to 20 km—though as Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann emphasizes, this hybrid is about power, not eco bragging rights.
“We are speaking not so much about the range of the hybridisation, but more about the additional performance-oriented output,” Winkelmann says.
Sculpted for Speed
The Fenomeno is a rolling carbon-fibre sculpture. Both its monocoque chassis and body panels are made entirely of the lightweight material, while massive carbon-ceramic brakes provide race-grade stopping power.
It rides on 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres. Aggressive new styling cues include:
- Dual hood air intakes inspired by the Huracán GT3 race car
- A “long tail” silhouette borrowed from the track-only Essenza SCV12
- An S-Duct system that channels air for optimal cooling
- Redesigned doors that improve side cooling efficiency by 30% compared to standard V12 models
Dimensions come in at 5014mm long, 2076mm wide, 1161mm tall, with a 2779mm wheelbase—low, wide, and unmistakably Lamborghini.
The Ultimate Few-Off
With nearly all units already spoken for, the Fenomeno is as much an ultra-exclusive collector’s item as it is a technological tour de force. It embodies Lamborghini’s commitment to uncompromising speed, advanced hybrid engineering, and outrageous design.
Or, as Winkelmann puts it:
“The power output, the design, the aerodynamics, and the fact that it’s made out of carbon fibre are the key elements of this car, which also represent what Lamborghini is all about.”
The Fenomeno isn’t just the fastest Lamborghini ever—it’s a statement piece for the select few who will have the privilege of calling one their own.
